This lantern is made by fusing three popular art forms, the Sheesham wood carving of Saharanpur, the Madhubani art of Bihar and the Dhokra wax casting native to Bastar. it also makes use of brass fish handles from Aligarh to ehance its beauty. Designed in the conventional shape of a lamp, it is meant to give an aura of simplicity and pure elegance.
