About FASTag:

FASTag is a simple & reusable tag based on radio-frequency identification (RFID) technology.
Each tag is linked to a registered Paytm Payments Bank Wallet to facilitate automatic deduction of toll charges.

Tag Replacement Cost Rs: ₹ 100.
This pricing is applicable only for tags purchased via Paytm Mall only.
Security deposit and Threshold Amount applicable will be carried forward from the previous FASTag on the same vehicle.
Previously issued FASTag would be automatically closed upon placing a request for Replacement FASTag.

How It Works:

Buy FASTag and affix it on the vehicle's windshield.
Add money to your Paytm Payments Bank Wallet.
Enter dedicated FASTag lane at any National Highway Toll Plaza and certain Parking Plazas.
Tag reader at Toll Plaza reads your vehicle's FASTag, and applicable Toll charges get deducted from the linked Paytm Payments Bank Wallet.
Boom barrier opens automatically and you pass like a VIP.
Review your Toll and trip details on Paytm App.

Delivery and Activation Process:

Place your Order for Replacement FASTag by uploading RC front and back images of your vehicle.
Post verification of the uploaded details, FASTag will be shipped to you.
FASTag will be mapped directly to the Paytm account associated with the mobile number used during order placement.

Additional Details:

This program is part of the National Electronic Toll Collection (NETC) initiative rolled out by NPCI under the guidelines of NHAI & IHMCL.
FASTag is presently operating at more than 400 toll plazas across national highways; more city and state plazas will be on-board in future.
To recharge your FASTag, simply add money to your Paytm Payments Bank Wallet.
In case tag is damaged/lost/not working, please DONOT place a new order. Kindly apply for replacement tag from Manage FASTag section on your Paytm App.
In case you are using a pre-owned vehicle(Second hand purchase) and wish to purchase FASTag for that vehicle, please make sure the previous owner of the vehicle has closed the previous FASTag issued to that vehicle.
In case of any queries please contact us via Need Help section on Paytm App.
In case you want to Deactivate FASTag and apply for security deposit refund, please visit Manage FASTag section of Paytm App and request a closure from the Need Help section.

Orders might be Auto-Cancelled in the below cases:

Cases where necessary documents are not submitted or verification of submitted documents has failed.
In cases where customer has placed duplicate orders (Ordering multiple FASTags for the same vehicle).
In cases where customer is not Min KYC. Please note that having at-least Min KYC is mandatory for the customer to place an order.
